a politically correct children's story based in mythology

Back to Fabulae Latinae

They fed her older sister, Siri, the handyperson of the town who repaired houses for families who were unable to repair their own houses, although they were equally as able in other professions as she was in repairing houses.

They fed her older brother, Diodotus, the village’s seamsperson, who sewed clothes in a wide variety of styles so that people could have fashions that suited their tastes and so that no style was held better than the others. This is not to say that the other villagers were unable to sew clothes, but that Diodotus had honed his skills in sewing more than the other villagers had.

They fed her grandfather, who lived with Liviana’s parents because he was chronologically experienced and did not want to live by himself after his lifetime partner had departed from the realm of mortal people. Now, her grandfather was a non-meat-eater, so Liviana and her father would make sure every day that they brought home various fruits and vegetables equally as delicious as the meat to suit his alternative preference in eating.
